Coverage during your trip
As an island nation, coverage differs considerably between metropolitan areas, resort centres, ferry routes, and remote beaches. Manila and central city areas are generally easier to serve than sparsely populated islands or open-water journeys.
Choosing and preparing your plan
Match the plan to the islands on your itinerary and download ferry tickets, hotel directions, and offline maps before travelling beyond a city. Weather can also disrupt transport and connectivity, making saved information particularly valuable.
Philippines eSIM questions
Why isn't my eSIM working in Philippines?
Confirm that the eSIM is selected for mobile data, data roaming is enabled, and airplane mode is off. Restart your phone after arrival; if it still does not connect, check the APN instructions supplied with the plan.
How do I check my Philippines eSIM data balance?
Sign in to Flowsus, open My eSIMs, and select the active eSIM to see its remaining data and latest usage update.
Can I keep my WhatsApp number while using an eSIM?
Yes. Keep your primary SIM active for your phone number and select the Flowsus eSIM for mobile data. WhatsApp keeps its registered number unless you choose to change it inside the app.
Can one eSIM profile be used on multiple phones?
Usually not. An issued eSIM profile is intended for one device. Do not delete an installed eSIM unless Flowsus support instructs you to do so. Contact support before changing phones or attempting to reinstall it.
