eSIM Thailand
Travel data in Thailand makes it easier to book rides, translate menus, confirm ferry times, and stay in touch while moving between Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, and the islands. An eSIM avoids spending arrival time at an airport SIM counter.

Using mobile data in Thailand
Coverage during your trip
Coverage is usually strongest in Bangkok and established tourism centres. Mountain roads in the north and boat routes or less-developed islands in the south may have intermittent reception, regardless of the plan, so save bookings and maps before setting out.
Choosing and preparing your plan
Consider a larger allowance if you will use ride-hailing, upload photos, or share data with companions. Install on dependable Wi-Fi before departure, keep your primary SIM enabled for important messages, and select the eSIM as the mobile-data line after arrival.
Thailand eSIM questions
Why isn't my eSIM working in Thailand?
Confirm that the eSIM is selected for mobile data, data roaming is enabled, and airplane mode is off. Restart your phone after arrival; if it still does not connect, check the APN instructions supplied with the plan.
How do I check my Thailand eSIM data balance?
Sign in to Flowsus, open My eSIMs, and select the active eSIM to see its remaining data and latest usage update.
Can I keep my WhatsApp number while using an eSIM?
Yes. Keep your primary SIM active for your phone number and select the Flowsus eSIM for mobile data. WhatsApp keeps its registered number unless you choose to change it inside the app.
Can one eSIM profile be used on multiple phones?
Usually not. An issued eSIM profile is intended for one device. Do not delete an installed eSIM unless Flowsus support instructs you to do so. Contact support before changing phones or attempting to reinstall it.
